Questions from the Language Section will be from the following topics: 

1. Reading Comprehension: There will be three types of passages (maximum 300-350 words):

What should you prepare for the Section 2 Domain-specific test? 

Domain subject papers will have one Question Paper with 50 questions, out of which 40 must be attempted.

CUET Syllabus 2024: General aptitude test 

Although section 3, the general test, is not compulsory, top universities like DU highly suggest students take the general aptitude test.  

Here’s the syllabus to cover the general aptitude test: 

  • General Knowledge, Current Affairs 
  • General Mental Ability, Numerical Ability 
  • Reasoning (Simple application of basic mathematical concepts Quantitative arithmetic/algebra/geometry/mensuration/statistics) 
  • Logical and Analytical Reasoning 

What should you prepare for the General Aptitude Test?  

  • Logical Reasoning: Expect questions that test series, analogies, deductions, and puzzles. 
  • Quantitative Aptitude: Topics might include basic arithmetic, algebra, geometry, statistics, and probability. 
  • Verbal Ability: This could encompass reading comprehension, sentence completion, synonyms, antonyms, and grammar-based questions.
