CUET Central University of Gujarat Eligibility Criteria 2023

The parliament of India established the Central University of Gujarat under the Central Universities Act in 2009.


Earlier, the Central University of Gujarat admissions were based on candidates' performance in the class 12 board exams. However, last year, the university joined the Central Universities Common Entrance Entrance Test (CUCET) list, which is now known as the Common Universities Entrance Test (CUET).


The Ministry of Education introduced the Common Universities Entrance Test to admit candidates to various undergraduate programs, Post-graduate programs, diploma courses, and research programs offered by various central universities across the nation.


The National Testing will conduct the CUET (UG) Entrance Exam from the academic year 2023 and is expected to be held in the month of July 2023. All types of courses are offered by CUET.


CUET (UG) exam is conducted nationwide, and it is the second-largest exam in the country.

CUG aims to provide quality education and create opportunities for encouraging students to effectively engage with international competitiveness, technological challenges, emerging innovations, and leadership in thought and action.



The Central University of Gujarat offers various undergraduate programs in different languages, as explained below.

  • B.A. (Hons.) in German Studies

  • B.A. and M.A. in Social Management

  • B.A. (Hons.) in Chinese

Candidates who are willing to get admission to these programs at the Central University of Gujarat must satisfy specific eligibility criteria in terms of age limit, minimum qualifying marks, required subjects, etc.
